Introducing the TTG Golf School

Unlike any coaching experience in the past, our golf school provides a comprehensive three-day coaching experience, allowing you ample time to learn and practice new techniques under the expert guidance of professional coaches. This immersive approach ensures that new skills become a permanent part of your game.

Our golf school operates in a fun and supportive group environment with a personalized 4:1 student-to-coach ratio. We tailor our instruction to each individual’s needs, focusing on the three crucial scoring clubs: driver, wedge, and putter. By emphasizing these key clubs, we aim to significantly improve your ability to score and win matches.

During our program, you'll benefit from both practice sessions and on-course training, gaining a holistic understanding of the game. The collaborative environment fosters encouragement, shared experiences, and motivation, helping you progress alongside fellow golf enthusiasts.

At our golf school, you’ll receive an individualized improvement plan to take home, ensuring you know exactly what to practice and how to develop your skills effectively. Our dedicated coaching team provides diverse perspectives and explanations, ensuring you grasp the concepts thoroughly.

Mel Sole

As a young South African PGA Tour Player, Mel was inspired to become a professional instructor by his coach and eventual partner, renowned teaching guru Phil Ritson.

Mel has over 50 years of international teaching experience and was awarded the prestigious South African PGA Master Professional status in 2013.

He became only the 18th person to achieve such an honor.

He was named "Top Teacher" by Golf Magazine in 2018 and "Best Teacher in South Carolina" by Golf Digest in 2019.

HERE'S YOUR SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK

A full itinerary will be provided two weeks prior to the event based on packages selected.

Arrival Day - Get Ready To Transform Your Game

Arrive at your destination and prepare for three days that will change your golf game forever.

Day 1 - Monday
  • Breakfast at 8:00 am.
  • Golf school starts at 9:00 am at Pawleys Plantation. With your 4 team members, you'll be rotating through 3, one hour stations:
  • Wedge play: Becoming deadly with your wedges is a sure way to lower your score. After analyzing your current skill level, we will walk you through which wedges you should have in your bag and help you learn distance control, the understanding of bounce and how to put yourself in the best position to score.
  • Putt Like A Pro: Here you will learn the skills and drills to putt better than you ever have before. Learn the dynamics of how to read a green properly, speed and tempo, and drills that you can take home to stay sharp long after the school is over.
  • Lunch at 12:00 noon at Pawleys Plantation Students can select anything from the menu or the daily specials.
  • On-course instruction begins at 1:00 pm 9 holes of golf at Pawleys Plantation. During this time your coach will follow along and help you implement everything you’ve just learned. Not only that, we have a heavy focus on how to improve your mind on the course leading to a better game. The mental side of golf is where we win and lose more often than we think. Our coaches will give you insight the entire 9 holes to retrain your brain into better golf!
  • We will hold a question and answer session and review topics and schedules for the remaining days.
Day 2 - Tuesday
  • Breakfast at 8:00 am.
  • From 9:00 am — 12:00 noon, students will receive training at 3, one hour stations. There will be heavy focus on pre shot routines and curing your weakness. Therefore if you’re a chronic slicer, your coach will spend an adequate amount of time working with you to fix your swing fault. We focus on how to think during your shot routines and how to manage your emotions to think just like the most successful players in the world! Stations for the day are as follows;
    • Station 1 — Full Swing Training with a heavy focus on iron play. Learn to hit your long irons with consistency. Please note you can also continue to work on your driver here as well. The school is tailored to fit each individual's needs.
    • Station 2 — Wedge Game — scoring inside 100 yards (how to control distance) Similar to day 1 coaching. You will now learn how to play your wedges from further out.
    • Station 3 — Sand Shots — technique used for short and long bunker shots
  • Lunch at 12:00 noon at Pawleys Plantation
  • On-course instruction begins at 1:00 pm. 9 holes of golf in 4-person teams at Pawleys Plantation.
Day 3: PUTTING PERFORMANCE & YOUR PERSONALIZED GAME PLAN

Morning: Putt Like A Pro

Master the most important club in your bag:

  • Green-reading secrets - Learn to see breaks like the pros do
  • Start-line calibration - Train your eyes and stroke to match perfectly
  • Distance control mastery - Drills using variable speeds, slopes, and breaking putts
  • Stroke consistency - Build a repeatable motion through feedback stations and performance metrics

Lunch: 12:00 PM - Final meal together as you reflect on your transformation


To close out the school, students will take part in a comprehensive final practice session focused on refining fundamentals and addressing any areas that still need attention. Coaches will work closely with each player to reinforce key concepts and ensure everyone finishes with clarity and confidence.
